Feghini Pinot Nero – Lago di Caldonazzo – vendemmia manuale
Pinot Nero
Cantina Michele Sartori

Pinot Noir grapes, hand-picked from the vineyards cultivated on the upper plots of the Colle di Tenna — at the “Pianari” near Maso Serafini and at the “Feghini”, on the slope descending toward Lake Caldonazzo. The perfect sun exposure, combined with two different elevations ranging from 450 to 650 meters above sea level, allows for optimal ripening of Pinot Noir grapes and lends the wine olfactory complexity with fruity and spicy notes. The wine ages for 12 months in oak barriques followed by a further 12 months of bottle ageing.

A Pinot Noir with an intense ruby colour, fruity, with fresh, green, almost balsamic notes, typical of mountain cultivation. A complex and distinctive structure with elegant acidity; the finely spiced fruit remains predominant even after wood ageing (12 months in barriques), harmonising the finish with velvety, silky tannins and revealing spicy notes of pepper, tobacco, and coffee on the palate.
